Poco F6 Pro is confirmed to launch alongside its vanilla sibling on May 23. However, the phone has already been unveiled in all its glory, thanks to unofficial unboxing videos.

Poco F6 Pro Unboxing Video

The video in question was uploaded on the sharing platform Dailymotion by a channel called ComputerHoy. It shows the phone in the black shade that Poco has been featuring in its promotional campaigns.

We also get a good look at the phone’s rectangular camera island that extends almost from edge to edge. Four individual rings rise from it, three for the cameras and one for flash. Leading the line is a 50MP primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilization. The camera island has a reflective surface, whereas the rest of the phone has a matte finish.

The back of the phone is flat except for the edges, which boast slight curves. Also flat are the side frames made of aluminum, and the front display which has a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

According to the video, the Poco F6 Pro will sport a WQHD+ Flow AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate screen. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, Qualcomm’s last year’s flagship chipset. Likewise, it will run on HyperOS and will support 120W HyperCharge.

Poco will include a 120W charging brick in the box, along with a charging cable, a SIM card ejector pin, and a phone case.

It’s widely accepted that the Poco F6 Pro is a rebranded Redmi K70 for the global market. The phone was recently spotted on Amazon, corroborating the same. It showed the white color variant of the phone with 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, a 5,000mAh battery, and 4000 nits of brightness, listed for EUR 619.90.

Poco F6 Pro Availability

Poco will unveil the F6 series in India and Europe through separate launch events on May 23. It looks like the brand is planning to release only the vanilla F6 in the Indian market for now, as the promotional campaign so far makes no reference to the Pro model.
