Back in January, Realme launched the Note 50 as the first device in its budget-friendly Note series. Its successor, the Note 60, is quietly up for grabs in Indonesia now, even though the company has yet to officially announce it.
We’ve found several listings of the phone from local retailers on Instagram, where you can order it right away. Unsurprisingly, these listings reveal most of the phone’s details, so here’s what we’ve been able to gather about it.
The Note 60 retains the blue and black color options of its predecessor but has a redesigned camera module on the back. It houses a 32MP main sensor with 10x digital zoom support and an additional auxiliary sensor.
The front of the phone has a familiar 6.74-inch 90Hz IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution like the Note 50. Realme, however, has been thoughtful enough to include a “rainwater smart touch” feature that makes it easier to use the phone with wet fingers. There’s also an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
A highlight of the Note 60 is that it surprisingly has metal frames despite its budget tag. Under the hood, the phone sticks with the Unisoc T612 chipset from its predecessor. This is paired with either 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage.
Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery with rather slow 10W charging. Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock via a 5MP front camera.
Price-wise, the 4/64GB variant of the Realme Note 60 is listed at Rp 1,399,000 (around $90) in Indonesia while the 6/128GB model costs Rp 1,599,000 (around $103). The phone seems to be available for purchase at retailers across Indonesia, so we can expect an official unveil from the Realme itself soon.
