Exclusive: Oppo Reno 12 series pricing revealed ahead of the launch

After its initial lunch in China last month, the Oppo Reno 12 series is set to go global on June 18. With the global launch just a day away, everything about the Reno 12 series is well-known, except for the pricing. We have already informed you of the third device, Reno 12 FS 5G, joining the regular Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. In this article, we will be talking about the pricing of each phone in the lineup.

Oppo Reno 12 series pricing

Oppo Reno 12 FS 5G is the cheapest phone of the trio. It will be priced at EUR 399.99 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. It will be available in two color options: Amber Orange and Black Green, both with IP564 rating.

It is followed by the regular Reno 12 5G, which will cost EUR 499.99 for the same 12GB + 512GB variant. Oppo will offer it in IP65-rated Astro Silver and Black Brown color options.

Finally, Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G comes with the most premium price tag. It will cost EUR 599.99 for the same 12GB + 512GB trim. Users will be able to choose between Nebula Silver and Nebula Black finishes.

Oppo Reno 12 Series features and specifications

Oppo Reno 12 FS, being the entry to the series, packs modest specifications. It sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of brightness. Under the hood, it packs the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB internal storage. It is equipped with 5,000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The Cosmo Ring at the back is home to a triple camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, there is a 32MP sensor on the front.

The vanilla Reno 12 is brings a 6.8-inch 3D curved AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 10 bit color depth and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It has the same 5,000mAh battery but supports a faster 80W SuperVOOC charging.

It has a better camera setup, led by a 50MP Sony LYT600 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization. It is accompanied by 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfie camera is a 32MP sensor with AF and 4K/30 fps recording.

Oppo Reno 12 Pro offers the most premium experience of all three. It brings a 6.7-inch Quad Curved AMOLED screen and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It has the same chipset, battery, and fast charging as the vanilla chipset.

The camera setup is also the same except for the 50MP ISOCELL JN5 telephoto camera replacing the macro shooter. The same sensor is used for the selfie camera on the front.
