After spilling the details about the pricing of Tecno’s next-gen foldables, we are back again—this time with some live images and a tentative launch date.
Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 Live Images
Though Tecno has already released official pre-order posters for the two foldables, the V Flip 2 was kinda second fiddle to the more premium Fold 2 on those.
We are now showing the the former in all its glory. The new images shows the new Designed by Phantom logo and branding at the back of the V Flip 2.
The sticker also confirms dual-SIM connectivity, 256GB internal storage, and the AE11 model number.
The model number was previously spotted on Geekbench with Dimensity 8050, confirming the chipset for Phantom V Flip 2
Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 Live Images
Similarly, the Phantom V Fold 2 has a model number of AE10. The phone was previously spotted on Geekbench with a Dimensity 9000+ chipset. It is paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
There’s not much new to discuss about this foldable since the official poster itself has revealed much, including the 50MP triple camera and support for a stylus.
Techno Phantom V Flip 2, Fold 2: Pricing and Availability
The upcoming Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2 will most likely go on sale in Ghana from September 8 onwards.
Phantom V Flip 2 is priced at GHS 9,8000 (~ USD 632) for the 8+256GB variant, while the Phantom V Fold 2 has a GHS 16,550 (~ USD 1,065) price tag for the 12+512GB storage configuration.
