It’s official – Aita M5 Ultra SUV will be launched on March 20, after going on pre-sale at the start of the month.
As per the announcement by Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), the SUV will be launched alongside the new Pura series of smartphones.
Aita announced pre-orders for the M5 Ultra on March 1, with the initial price starting at 238,000 Yuan.
The current starting prices are RMB 249,800, RMB 279,800, and RMB 269,800 for the three trims.
Aita is a New Energy Vehicle brand launched by Huawei and Seres Group on December 2, 2021. M5 was the first NEV model under the joint venture, launching on December 23, 2021.
The Ultra model comes standard with Huawei’s Advanced Driving System 3.0 (ADS 3.0), backed by the upgraded 192-channel LiDAR and 4D millimeter-wave radar.
There are new AES (Autonomous Emergency Braking) and eAES (electronic Anti-Skid Emergency Sytem) systems for emergency situations.
The rest of the specs of the M5 Ultra is consistent to the current vanilla model.
